1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how VidBreak ("VidBreak", "we", "us") handles information when you visit vidbreak.com, create an account, purchase credits, upload or import a video, run an analysis, or contact support.

VidBreak is an independent video-analysis service. It is not affiliated with YouTube or any other source platform.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only information needed to operate and protect the service:

• Account data: name, email address, authentication status, account preferences, and security records.
• Source and analysis data: videos you upload, URLs you submit, selected time ranges, technical metadata, analysis settings, generated scripts, scene breakdowns, prompts, rewrites, and exports.
• Billing records: product, order, credit, payment status, receipt identifiers, and refund status supplied by Creem. VidBreak does not receive or store your full payment-card number.
• Support data: messages, email address, and any files or order details you choose to provide when requesting help.
• Security and technical data: IP address, browser and device details, request logs, error records, abuse-prevention signals, and necessary cookies.
• Product measurement data: for an analysis started after an organic-search visit, the coarse source category organic_search and the allowlisted VidBreak landing-page path. This measurement does not retain the raw referrer, search query, or search-engine hostname.

Do not send passwords, full card numbers, government IDs, or other unnecessary sensitive information through the support form.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• create and secure your account;
• import or receive authorized source media;
• provide scene breakdowns, scripts, viral-pattern analysis, prompts, rewrites, and exports;
• calculate and deduct credits;
• process orders, receipts, taxes, refunds, and payment support through Creem;
• send verification, password-reset, service, and support emails;
• prevent fraud, abuse, infringement, and service disruption;
• diagnose errors, monitor reliability, and improve the service;
• measure whether organic-search landing pages lead to an analysis start; and
• comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.

We do not sell personal information. VidBreak does not use source videos to train its own model or intentionally submit them for public-model training; processing providers handle them only under their applicable service terms.

4. Source Media and Result Retention

Uploaded or imported source media and temporary derivatives are scheduled for automatic deletion 24 hours after processing reaches a terminal state. Where the product offers an earlier deletion control, you may delete inactive source media sooner.

Generated results do not have a fixed expiry. They remain available subject to your account's result capacity and deletion controls; when capacity is exceeded, the oldest result may be removed first. Account deletion initiates deletion of account-linked data and stored media, subject to limited backups, fraud-prevention records, payment records, and legal retention duties.

Temporary upload sessions and preview URLs can expire earlier for security and operational reasons.

5. Service Providers

We use service providers only as needed to operate VidBreak, including:

• Vercel for web hosting and application delivery;
• Neon for application database services;
• Cloudflare for object storage, DNS, security, and Turnstile abuse prevention;
• Google Cloud and contracted AI-processing providers for authorized media processing and text-based analysis;
• Resend for transactional and support email; and
• Creem as Merchant of Record for checkout, payment processing, receipts, applicable indirect taxes, refunds, and payment disputes.

These providers process data under their own terms and privacy commitments. Data may be processed in countries other than your own, with safeguards appropriate to the service and applicable law.

6. Cookies and Analytics

VidBreak uses necessary cookies for authentication, security, language, and service continuity. Optional analytics are used only when enabled. We do not currently use advertising cookies. The coarse organic-search measurement described above does not set or read cookies or browser storage. See the Cookie Policy for details.

7. Sharing and Disclosure

We disclose information only to the service providers above, when you direct us to do so, when necessary to complete a transaction or provide support, to protect users and the service, or when required by law. We may disclose or transfer information as part of a lawful business reorganization, subject to appropriate confidentiality and notice obligations.

8. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing. You can update account information and use available data controls in the product, or email support@vidbreak.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

9. Security

We use access controls, encrypted transport, environment-isolated credentials, retention limits, and monitoring designed to protect information. No service can guarantee absolute security, so you should use a unique password and protect your account credentials.

10. Children

VidBreak is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information to the service.

11. Changes

We may update this policy when the service or legal requirements change. The updated date and revised policy will be posted on this page.
