Cookies are small values stored by your browser. Similar browser storage can serve the same purposes.

2. Cookies VidBreak Uses

VidBreak uses cookies and browser storage for:

Authentication and security: keeping you signed in, protecting sessions, preventing abuse, and supporting Turnstile verification.
Essential preferences: preserving language, interface, and workflow choices needed for the service.
Service continuity: remembering the current analysis workflow and restoring eligible product state.
Customer support: when tawk.to chat is enabled, maintaining the support conversation and chatbox state.
Optional analytics: understanding reliability and product usage only when an analytics service is enabled.

VidBreak does not currently use advertising or cross-site behavioral-targeting cookies.

VidBreak's coarse first-party source measurement does not set or read cookies, local storage, or session storage for attribution. The browser reduces an eligible referrer or supported campaign parameter to organic_search or product_hunt plus an allowlisted VidBreak landing-page path. These two values travel in internal URL parameters and can be associated with trial, account, analysis, and subsequent payment records on our servers. Necessary sign-in and trial-access cookies continue to control access; no additional attribution identifier is stored in them. The raw referrer, search query, and referring hostname are not retained for this measurement. Anonymous visits are not linked across visits.

3. Third-Party Services

Authentication, hosting, security, payment, customer-support, and optional analytics providers may set or read cookies or similar storage under their own policies. tawk.to may do so when support chat is enabled. Creem checkout is hosted by Creem and is subject to Creem's cookie and privacy terms.

4. Managing Cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser. Blocking essential cookies can prevent sign-in, security checks, payment handoff, or workflow restoration from working.
